At age 12 Tom Moreau began his journey into martial arts by signing up for a school judo program. Little did he know the positive impact that decision would have on the rest of his life. Tom studied under Chris Veziris and Roger Lenfest of Derry Judo for the next 15 years, amassing several local and state titles.
Then Tom felt it was time to help expand the sport and he opened Moreau's Training Center. Although a judo first school, Moreau's has expanded to include boxing, combative ju-jitsu, strength and conditioning as well as mixed martial arts. Moreau's is very pleased with the development of our youth judo program "Little Spartans", our adult judo program, and the mma team "Team Valor". Several of our students and instructors have had great success on the local, national and international levels.
Tom is very proud of all of the programs we offer and invites everyone to come down and check us out; you never know where it may take you.

Moreau's Training Center is owned and operated by Tom Moreau, 3 time consecutive State Judo Champion (overall weight divisions), 2007 Greater Lowell Golden Gloves Champion (light/heavy), New England Golden Gloves Runner up, Global Fight League Welter Weight Champion, and MMA cage fighter. Tom has also brought his fight team (Team Valor) to many NAGA (North American Grappling Association) tournaments and earned numerous medals and championships.

Team Captain Chris Plourde, along with Team Valor Members Alan and Kelly Taylor participated in the 2011 New England Tough Mudder in April. Through the mud and the muck, over the walls, through the snow, fire, electric shocks, and 10 miles up Mt. Snow, they finished the Mudder in 3 hours 40 minutes. We are proud of all your hard work! Great job guys!
